Academics
Georgetown University is comprised of four undergraduate schools, three graduate and professional schools, professional development programs and certificates, medical residencies and other programs predicated on the liberal arts tradition at the heart of the institution. Each school holds separate graduation activities and ceremonies. To find out more, visit your student's degree granting academic department.
- Receiving your diploma happens on the day of graduation. When students cross the stage, they are handed a blank diploma. Each school arranges for a "real" diploma pick up directly after the graduation ceremonies.
